Timing starts when pressing "play" after selecting "Story Mode", timing ends as you finish beating the last cop during the final musical section.
Tricks and Priorities
- Turbo is allowed for this game, and can be configured via Steam Input. I recommend binding an unused button for confirm to skip dialog as efficiently as possible. I used R3 for this myself. Places in the game where holding turbo confirm is likely to trap you in looping dialog will be marked in the notes.
- Dialog choices will appear in several turbo sequences, but will not be called out unless it’s important to make a particular choice. It seems probable that some conversation paths from these branches might be shorter than the default option, but it hasn’t been tested if any are worth interrupting turbo dialog mashing for.
- Failing forward through rhythm sequences may be prohibited depending on run category. Two sequences with required fail states are displayed in a different color to make them obvious at a glance. No guidance is given on completing the rhythm sequences themselves since the runner should be capable of that on their own.
